Egypt, a country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East, dates to the time of the pharaohs. Millennia-old monuments sit along the fertile Nile River Valley, including Giza’s colossal Pyramids and Great Sphinx as well as Luxor’s hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings tombs. The capital, Cairo, is home to Ottoman landmarks like Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo - Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs
Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (arrival procedures) and will
then escort you to your hotel in Cairo in an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, your tour
manager will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your vacation itinerary with you to establish
and confirm pick-up times for each tour to start your Egypt tour package. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then, head out to the Egyptian Museum. Continue to Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest and most alluring bazaar. Later, you’ll head back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly from Cairo to Luxor - Nile Cruise Holiday
After your checkout from the hotel in the morning, you’ll be transferred to Cairo Airport for a flight to
Luxor, where you will be greeted and taken by an air-conditioned vehicle your Nile cruise. After lunch on board, enjoy a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. You’ll have dinner on board the ship. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions
You’ll have an early breakfast on board, then head out to visit the Royal Cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, then to mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom during the 15th century BC. Travel on to the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, you will sail to Edfu, enjoying a leisurely dinner on board. Overnight onboard
the ship.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
After breakfast on board, you’ll stop for a visit to the Temple of Edfu, the best-preserved temple of the
ancient world. The structure is dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. You’ll then sail to Kom Ombo, where
you’ll encounter the twin temple of Kom Ombo, where you’ll learn about the crocodile god Sobek
and the falcon god Horus, whose monuments decorate each half of the temple. You’ll have your
lunch back onboard the ship and sail on to Aswan. You’ll also have dinner onboard. Overnight on board the cruise ship.

Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Holiday
After your breakfast on the Nile cruise, enjoy a day of sightseeing in
Aswan. Start with the High Dam and then visit the Unfinished Obelisk
in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the largest obelisk yet
discovered. You’ll then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae,
devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. You’ll have your dinner
on board of your cruise ship.

Visits: High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Temple of Philae.
Day 7: Fly from Aswan to Cairo
You’ll disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast and then transfer to Aswan Airport for your return to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted at the airport and then taken to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Meals: Breakfast.
Day 8: Cairo - Fly Back Home
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by free time at your leisure, after which you will be transferred to
Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
